| Description: | Responsible for treating women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods; examining patient to ascertain condition, utilizing physical findings, laboratory results, and patient's statements as diagnostic aids; determining need for modified diet and physical activities, and recommending a plan; periodically examining patients and prescribing medication or surgery; delivering infants, and caring for mothers for prescribed period of time following childbirth; performing cesarean section or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patient's health and deliver infants safely; and responsible for the treatment of patients for diseases of generative organs.

| Qualifications: | The position requires an M.D. Degree or equivalent + completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The employer will accept Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Obstetrics/Gynecology as evidence of completion of the training requirement. License or eligibility for a valid California medical license required. |
